Berlin Natural Bakery was established in 1986. Originally producing breads made from other varieties of wheat and spelt. Over the years we found spelt to be such a superior grain, that we discontinued our other line of wheat products altogehter. Today our bakery produces only products made with spelt. This proved to be beneficial in two ways. It completely eliminated any chance of cross contamination with "other wheat" varities and allowed us to focus our energy on the research and development of additional spelt products.
Hakuna Banana is always plant-based and made without any refined sugars. We use real fruit to sweeten our tasty pints. We blend bananas, coconuts, and a handful of dates to create a luscious base for our delicious flavors.
WHY BANANAS?It's nature's creamiest and dreamiest food! They add just enough tropical sweetness and bring a bonus of nutrients like potassium. Every pint is made with at least 2 whole bananas!
WHAT DOES HAKUNA BANANA MEAN?Hakuna Banana is inspired by the Swahili phrase "hakuna matata," which, roughly translated, means "no worries." We're all about good vibes, no worries, and going bananas for good food.
In 2004, we started making small batches of coconut-milk ice cream for our dairy-free friends and family in Austin. Pretty soon, word got around how creamy it was and before we knew it, complete strangers were showing up on our doorstep with spoons!
That’s how NadaMoo began. It’s a made-up word that means “no dairy.” We think it’s fun to say and even more fun to eat.
Formerly hidden amongst brick warehouses, refurbished grill pubs and the lively artist community of Georgetown, WA stood the Field Roast Grain Meat Company. Started in 1997 when chef David Lee combined the traditional idea of Buddhist food "Mien Ching" with bold european flavors, Field Roast now makes an exceptional line of vegetarian grain meats.
Now we introduce our new production and office facility on Jackson street, where we have renovated an old dairy building which to make our grain meats. We are growing and stretching our limbs...say ahhhh with us!
Our family immigrated to the US in the 1970's, in pursuit of the American dream. With limited English, our family chose food to help establish ourselves in America. What began as a small restaurant sharing our favorite family dishes, turned into a quest to share authentic and healthy Asian foods beyond our restaurant doors. From a family-owned restaurant we are now a family-owned Asian food manufacturer—Lucky Foods.
In 1980, we developed our first product for wholesale distribution, the vegetarian Spring Roll. Since the launch of our Spring Rolls, we've expanded and now offer Pot Stickers, Potato Stix, Seoul Kim Chi and Pickled Ginger. For alternative diets, we offer Asian food products that are NON-GMO & Gluten Free, vegan and vegetarian.
At Lucky Foods, our mission is to provide Asian foods that are easy to prepare but also healthy. We are committed to making foods that are 100% natural and 100% delicious.
